Emerging Lives Initiative advances its mission through structured strategic platforms that strengthen leadership capacity, workforce readiness, and intergenerational connection. Each platform contributes to a coordinated ecosystem approach rather than operating as a standalone program.

POEM BY TISE - An elder whose friend took her money and did not
want to give it back.
This poem was created based on the story told by one of the seniors of a friend
who took a loan from her friend and did not want to pay it back.
They laughed and played a clever trick,
Took her cash, and their plan was slick.
But truth came out, the lies fell flat—
She got her hard-earned money back.
She didn’t shout, she didn’t fight,
She chose instead to make things right.
With grace she stood, no need for spite,
And showed them what is truly right.
Now she says with a steady voice,
“Choose your friends with honest choice.
Not charm or jokes or flattery,
But hearts that hold integrity.”

A Safe Space. A Support Network. A Path to Strength.
The Women’s corner was born from our Women's Sports Initiative and strengthened through our Grounded Women of Influence program in collaboration with Leagler, the Women’s Corner provides a dedicated space where women can speak freely, feel supported, and build the resilience needed to thrive.
You are safe here. You are heard here. You belong here.
We have had some women who participate in our sports and empowerment programs tell us that they were carrying invisible burdens such as workplace stress, family pressures, financial strain, trauma, isolation, and the need for a trusted support system.
While sport strengthens the body, the ThriveHER Hub strengthens the mind, voice, and spirit.
This space provides a confidential and compassionate environment where women can share experiences, access guidance, and find encouragement without judgment.
The ThriveHER Hub and Women’s Sports Initiative, forms a holistic support system that nurtures physical wellness, emotional well-being, and personal empowerment.
