
Dr. Grace Ihejiamaizu is a social entrepreneur, educator, and global opportunities advocate committed to expanding access to life-changing opportunities for young people, especially girls and underserved communities in Africa and the Diaspora. She is the Founder of Opportunity Desk, a globally recognized platform that has connected millions of young people to scholarships, fellowships, and leadership opportunities for over a decade.
She has led and supported multiple impact-driven initiatives across Nigeria and globally, including mentoring girls in technology through the Technovation program and implementing digital skills and leadership programs for underserved youth through iKapture Centre for Development. Her leadership has helped young people access global platforms, funding, and transformative learning experiences.
Dr. Grace holds a PhD in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, where her research focuses on the lived experiences of African women social entrepreneurs through a gendered and culturally grounded lens. Her work sits at the intersection of education, gender equity, youth empowerment, and social innovation.
Through her writing, mentorship, and global advocacy, she continues to champion a future where African and Diasporan youth are informed, equipped, and confidently positioned to thrive in a world of opportunities.
