Women's Leadership Through Sport's Initiative

The Women’s Leadership through Sport's Initiative uses structured soccer engagement to strengthen confidence, teamwork, discipline, and leadership capacity among women. Through organized tournaments and intentional mentorship, participants build resilience, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills that are essential for long term workforce participation and community leadership.

Beyond leadership development, this initiative supports both mental and physical well-being, recognizing that sustainable workforce participation and community contribution require strong health foundations. Structured sport engagement promotes stress management, emotional regulation, confidence, and physical vitality . This reinforces ELI’s preventative and resilience centered approach.

As part of Emerging Lives Initiative’s broader ecosystem strategy, this platform advances the CORE Leadership Framework cultivating women who are Competent, Organizationally Skilled, Responsible, and Ethical in both sports and life.

By creating inclusive spaces for participation, health, and growth, this initiative strengthens leadership pipelines while contributing to a healthier and more resilient workforce ecosystem.
